Craft (Manufacture)
Scavenge/Gather (salvaging/looting)
Raid (ganksquad, gatecamp, complexing)
Heal (remore repair/boost)
Buff/Unbuff (gang effects, gang links, remote assist, EWar)
/dance (wtf!)
...nope, nothing more I can think of. _ New char creation guide | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

Quote: Toon- One of the more annoying things on this list, but still below flameworthy. In EVE we use the term alt, is it that hard to remember 3 letters?
Actually, it's "char" (from "Character"), which further splits into "main" (main/primary char) and "alt" (alternative/secondary char). _ New char creation guide | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

Originally by: Ares Lightfeather And by the way, what other word than craft are you supposed to use, when you make spacecraft ?
I don't know, why don't you use the word "ship" then, when you manufacture a spaceship ? Or "modulate" when you're building, er... modules ? _ New char creation guide | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

Originally by: Ares Lightfeather Because crafting means building, and shipping doesn't, perhaps ? PS : it was a trap, you fell in it.
Actually, in "spacecraft" the "craft" part is a synonime to "ship".
Spacecraft means the same as spaceship, for most people anyway. If you want to use with the other meaning of "spacecraft", then it means "to build something in space", and it's hardly relevant here. "to craft", as a verb, indeed, means the same as "build" or "manufacture".
But when used as a substantive, it can mean "ship" or "vehicle"... or it can mean the skill/occupation of somebody has, as a builder/manufacturer. I guess you fell in your own trap ? _ New char creation guide | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

Originally by: Ares Lightfeather Words have more than one meaning, and it's stupid to try prevent people to use perfectly legit words for something. That is all I wanted to say.
Well, sure, they could use the word "craft" when refering to the activity of manufacturing a ship/module and not be wrong. However, the word is deprecated even in day-to-day use, and because this is not a fantasy game, the term "to craft" used instead of "to build" is a sign you are coming from a fantasy-based MMO background.
And that was the whole point of the thread, wasn't it ? To give people heads-up, avoid using terms that show you are not a "EVE-Onlineist" but rather a "EOnewb coming from some other MMOcraft". _ New char creation guide | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

Originally by: Trak Cranker I am pretty sure I will get ridiculed, and worse, ripped off, if I hand my car over to the mechanic, asking him to fix my craft, because the rotators make it go starboard even if I hold them helm steady.
